Symposium Age Policy
The Symposium has an age policy that requires that only those 18 and older enter session rooms or the Posters, Exhibits, and Food Service Room due to the sensitivity of presentations and for the courtesy of other attendees. Please keep these age requirements in mind when planning your trip. For nursing mothers, we provide a dedicated room. The nursing mother’s room is in room 3002 on Level 3, and will be open the duration of the meeting.
The following information is taken directly from materials provided by the childcare services themselves
- Offering sitting services for traveling parents in need of care.
- ACC requests 24 hour notice when making a reservation. Quite often they fill last minute requests. If childcare is requested for multiple days, ACC tries to keep the same nanny. The nanny’s hours are flexible and up to the parent’s schedule. Fees are $35 per hour with a 4-hour minimum for one child.
- Professional Nannies are available for travel to help families while they are working at conventions, corporate events, or weddings. Fees for travel are in addition to our service fees for child care.
- It is best to book at least 24 hours in advance to match your children with the best babysitter, but they will make every effort to book your sit with less notice and can usually accommodate you on the same day. Fees start at $25/hour for one child with a four-hour minimum and an Agency fee of $25.
